As the needle bends

A world view thru my hobbit hole door

About

Seems like everyone in the world is getting a blog. And what would be an appropriate name for the blog of a former nurse turned paramedic who learned to hand-piece quilt blocks during slow time in the ambulance?  Just as my nick “BentNeedle” came to be – the place where I post my musings shall be “As the needle bends.” Please remember that the things that “bend my needle” will be views of the world, through the door of my little hobbit hole – whether pertaining to quilting, or to politics, or life in general.  HobbitHole        Welcome!

  1. Your quilting is wonderful. Your sunbonnet babies is the same as the one my step grandma made for my baby sister when she was born 47 years ago. And, my sisters quilt was a copy of the one my step grandma made for my stepmom when before she was born. I admire your needlwork……. I can barely sew on a button.

AW, I’m not going to take credit for the sunbonnet babies – they were made before I was born. Trying to restore them to something of their former glory is my challenge. But they are definitely worth it!
    Thanks for visiting.
